Joshua Tree National Park

Christmas in July, or I should say New Year’s in August, because Todd and I took these pictures on 12/31/14. You’ll see patches of snow. The temperature was in the twenties, windchill near zero. All the campgrounds were full. It made a person glad not to be a camper.

New Year’s Eve is one of my favorite holidays, one of the few times a year that I drink Coke and eat M&Ms.
